Mercedes-maybach Gls | Ultra Luxury Suv

 One of the famous German auto maker Mercedes-Benz has recently launched its all new GLS Maybach in India, at pricing starts from 2.80 Crore Rupees, on road Delhi. 

It is also known as GLS 600, which is placed right above the Mercedes-Benz GLS in the market.

Looks Exterior 

Starting from the front, it got a massive front grill with vertical chrome lines, similarly at the lower part also it got chrome (too much chrome looks quite overdone in pictures to me), Black out Mercedes Multi-beam LED head lights with DRL which work as indicator at the same time, the Mercedes logo is right on the bonnet and ended with a skid plate at the lower half of bumper.

From the side also it looks humongous with those massive 22-inch alloys again finished in chrome, with more chromes at door handles, window lines, B pillar, and side skirt. All that  is complemented with silver roof rails and gloss black rear view mirrors with turn indicators.

At the rear it got similar tail lamps of GLS 450 with Mercedes emblem and GLS 600 written. A thin chrome strip running through the tail lamps highlights the width of the car and same done at the reflector part as well. Below down the exhaust tips and the diffuser also finished in Chrome

So the car itself is loaded with a lot of chrome from the exterior. Lets check out interiors as well.

Interior

Lets start with rear seats, the best place in this car.

It got long and wide opening doors, inside it is grey and gloss black trim at top half of it which got has electronic seat controls with a tweeter and seat ventilation setting, lower part has space to keep bottles and stuff like that, above it is the speaker placement with ambient light between door trims, that looks stunning at any freaking time.

Getting inside it got two captain seats with partition at the center which gets a arm rest with storage space, touch screen, cup holders, controls for four zone climate adjustment, a refrigerator for drinks, tables and rear passenger infotainment system.

Talking about seats they also look fantastic with that softest head rest to the support for lower leg which makes the rear seat a complete bed. 

Getting to front row the dashboard is absolutely similar to GLS 450 the only difference here is Maybach batching in the center console right behind the touch pad. 

Front seats 

Center console carries gloss black finish at start with touch pad, knurled finishing at volume, traction and drive mode controls and arm rest with storage. 

PERFORMANCE

Mercedes got the best engine in it. These is the 4.0 liter V8 Bi-turbo motor which produces 557 HP and 730 N-m of torque, which is been revised for more refinement and assisted with a 48-volt EQ boost electric motor. 

These engine is matted with a 9 speed gear box which Mercedes calls 9-G TRONIC MCT gear box. Super fast and smooth with its shift proven in multiple AMG models. 

All this delivers power to 4 wheels via 4-MATIC system.(All wheel drive)

Suspension  

It use Mercedes AIRMATIC package i.e. adaptive air suspension, uses sensor system of the all-round self-leveling enables automatic lowering at high speeds and also in the sporty DYNAMIC SELECT drive programs.

Safety

Everything to make your new Mercedes-Maybach GLS even safer.
Optionally available, perfectly coordinated safety systems can offer the best possible protection to the occupants in an emergency.

And lot more.

Conclusion

I had not experienced the product yet if it is possible I'll do a comparison in future. But for now its an very promising product and you can consider it if you like to be driven.

But if you like to drive hard and fast with all comforts then this is not a product meant for driving pleasure.
